latch replacement question

My 08 was apparently treated a bit roughly in terms of compartment latches. Three are showing cracks in the plastic connection between the handle and the threaded shaft with the locking lever on it. I was fixing to order a cover anyway, and a couple of brake calipers, and thought about biting the bullet and replacing all the latches as a couple of others have bent shafts that have apparently been straightened enough times to produce some stress fractures, etc. What this 08 classic vision has is the typical Perko black plastic locks with chrome handles. You show a couple of options in parts, the Southco and the Marine town compression locks. Are either / both compatible with the 3" Perko locks with 2.5" holes, which is what I think I have? The parts page doesnt mention the lock size or the hole opening size so I could not tell. Or if I give them the hull ID will they simply match that with the correct lock sizes? Looks like a reasonable solution if a bit pricey, if they will fit. I notice that my Perkos have different locking levers depending on the compartment. In looking at the Southco web page, the locks seem to come with three of them with different offsets. Is this the way yours are done? Do the compression-type latches require any sort of striker plate or reinforcement under the lip of the compartments?Final question, I will need 6 locking and 3 non-locking. Is it possible to get the 6 locking latches keyed to the same key???Thanks..2008 Pantera Classic2014 Mercury Pro XS 200
