Lid Light Switch-Wire Pulled Out

Hi,

I haven’t yet taken the switch out to try to repair, but a wire was pulled out of the switch. Can this be repaired? Or do I need to buy a new switch?

 

I thought I would ask the experts before I even start to remove it.

 

Update: Found the issue. A bad crimp on the ground wire.
