I have 96 Erya with a Mercury 150 excited to get it on the water this year
I have an 88 Sabre with an 89 Johnson GT 150. Engine has low hours and runs real nice! I have everything but the speedometer working! Now for new carpet and getting the shine back!!
My buddy’s ‘98 Pantera Classic, 150efi. Immaculate shape, runs low 60’s still. How well it’s held up convinced me on a Cat.👍
I had a 1986 Skeeter Starfire SF150 with a Johnson GT 150. The strongest engine I’ve ever had. Scary fast boat. Fished a tournament and at the end one of the competitors that had a Gambler was impressed with the speed. Long story short …… Skeeter faster than his Gambler.
Sounds great, I’ve never chased speed too much on land, but man, do I love a fast boat; and that’s what brought me to look for Bass Cat boats…
Picking this one up once the weather clears here in Arkansas. my first Cat when over yesterday took a look and bought it just waiting to taking my trout boat out of storage and over to the dealer to sell and slip this old gal in its place.
’96 PANTERA CLASSIC WITH ’97 MERC 200EFI.
NEW CARPET AND STEERING FROM BASSCAT PARTS DEPT. WISH IT WAS A DUAL CONSOLE…..PASSENGERS DON’T LIKE 70MPH ON THE COLUMBIA RIVER…..
If spring ever gets here . I plan on replacing the carpeting, wiring , lights and seats in both of my cats . Planning to upgrade one to an 85hp Merc . The 65hp Merc on it will be handed down to another project..
So did the new carpet work well with the box lids? I was thinking that Basscat is using a heavy oz these days so I’m curious how it worked on older boats compartment lids and ect. I want to replace mine it not bad now but new would be nice.
The new carpet from Basscat worked great on my ’96 Pantera. Lids close nice and snug…not too tight. Best stuff around. I recarpeted my previous boat, a Champion with 24oz carpet bought off a supplier on the internet. It was garbage compared to the stuff from Basscat. Price was similar too.
Still enjoying an older ‘89 PII with a Mariner 150. Runs 61-64 mph depending on load. If I can help it I’ll always have nothing but a Cat.
2001 P III with 2014, 200 Pro XS, Slowly restoring.
