Passenger Console

Boat i am interested in is a 2005 Puma in White. So may be some risk?

I have 2012 Cougor FTD dual console. I have read all the info on how ro remove the console. What I am lookung for is some ideas of how I can take it in and out after the origional removal. Maybe some kind of weather stripping on to console instead of putting back on with glue. Any ideas will be appreciated.

You dont have to glue. Just use the bolts. Its not going anywhere. It might squeek a little, but it will be OK.

Its hard enough to get the wife into a 70mph+ boat. Why would you take it out?

Thanks for the ideas guys. As far as why I want to take it out, there is more room for fishing and moving around, and I am not worried about my passenger it is my boat not my passengers boat!

There is a bit more room to move about without the passenger console, but not enough to make any difference, at least to me. The 06 CougarFTD I had, came as a single console. I bought a passenger console for it, but had to wait about 6 weeks or so before it came in. So Ive fished out of Cougars with both the single and the double. For me, moving around only amounts to getting out of the drivers seat and going up on the front deck. So the second console isnt in my way. I like having two consoles, for two reasons, I think the boat looks better with two and my wife is my partner so I want that console there to help keep her more comfortable. But, youre right, it is your boat.
