Hoping someone here can help. Need to get my Fury repaired after I dinged it end of last season. Want to send it to Mark because of all the good comments here. But had a couple questions and cant reach them by phone after a few attempted calls and there doesnt seem to be an answering machine. Thought someone here could help as I know many have used him in the past.These may be dumb questions but believe or not Ive never had to get SS prop repaired. So bear with me:See services list below. I see to get it repaired is either $133 or $143 on the services list. He lists Blue Printing for $215, is that on top of repair or would it cover repair also? I asked because service list notes that you can have prop re-pitched for $40 if get repair and Blue Printed. Reason I ask is that if it costs almost $400 for all, I might as well get a new Fury for a hair more then that. On the other hand if I can get this one repaired, repitched, blue printed for $255 (215 plus 40) Id like to do that. Im thinking about reducing the pitch a bit because Im turning under 5500 rpm according to the print out I got when I had motor serviced in the fall (200 Opti on 07 Classic) I have been very happy with prop as it came out of the box (great hole shot, great mileage but more chine walk then the Trophy Plus) but Im not getting near the red line of 5700. Top end for me on short straightaways is 71 before chine walk gets the best of me. And yes, I well aware the driver needs to get better and Im working on it believe me. While 71 is nothing to sneeze at I know there is more there. BTW I have plate set 1/4″ below flush.I probably should just get it repaired for the $143 and be done with it but sometimes you want to “chase the rabbit” as our doctor friend likes to say….. I can just ship and include copy of order form (I submitted one a couple weeks ago on his website) once I know what to ask for.Thank you.Brian
