ROOKIE QUESTION

Here is a rookie question, when traveling down the highway do most people leave the pedestals (butt seat, and chair back) mounted? I didnt know what the chances are of them coming out. Even though they arent threaded posts I cant imagine them bouncing out??

your pitch does have some bearing on the chine walk but at that pitch most likely your hole shot will suffer and if your not a speed demon then i would suggest a 25 tempest

When I do fish I travel to and from I have my butt seat in the rear all the time. Never an issue for me. Done that for as long as I have owned a boats. Longer trips I keep seats in my truck.

I never leave my seats mounted when I travel. I take them off and put them in the starboard rod locker. No sense taking any chances.

If you leave them in itll hog out the white inserts in the pedestal tube.

I leave the front butt seat in, pole out in floor board, rear seat and pedestal stored when trailering. Butt seat doesnt move enough to matter, to me.Also take the bow HDS-8 off my RAM mount. Leave my 7 RAM mounted at the console.

I take mine out when trailering to and from the water. And before BCB comes in and says itRead the little sign on the face of the deck near the cooler lol I dont know anyone who takes the but seat out while operating the boat, but thats what the sign says. I used to. Then I went and bought the black bushing instead of the white on(which was the correct one). I never use my butt seat. However, if I did, I would take it out when trailering. The one time I tried it, I had a very difficult time getting it out of the bushing
