88 Sabre Bass Cat dark charcoal (near black) and gold with silver trim (completely restored 6 months before it got in a minor accident). Trailer was brought back to new 2 years ago (new boards, carpet, bearings, seals, rims, tires, fenders, old board brackets were ground off and new thicker ones welded on, blasted & painted). At that time, the whole boat was sanded and clearcoated (8 coats of clear – shined better than new). All the seats, wireing, pumps, hoses, switches, stickers, etc. were replaced 6 months before accident.(everything works). 2 years ago I took off the hatches, pulled out all the carpet off the front deck, hatches, and floor. It was all sanded down, cleaned, and all coated wtih Rino liner (not to thin but not thick to add weight). Carpet on back deck in good shape and rear hatch (with new carpet) was replaced few years ago. The boat hit a power pole at about 25 MPH. No one was hurt, and I learned that no one else will drive my boat. The damage is not bad & fixable ($3000 – 3500 est.) The pole hit the front corner cap and crushed it in about 1/2 to 3/4 inch then the boat deflected off the side. The port side of the boat is scratched up cosmetic and 98% should all come out leaving minor blemish or 2. The troll motor (Minn Kota 65 – 2 yrs. old) works fine, but it needs a new bracket. I put $2800 into it in 2007 (boat items listed above) and $3600 into it in fall of 2005 (trailer items listed above & clear coat). I am asking $1700 for boat and trailer (comes with trool motor, jack plate & new Tempress seats) or will sell everything separately. I have pictures of everything for the asking. Thanks, Ted P.
