Alright now, what is all this about. Phil you are right about a CLASSIC CHOKE. Had to feel sorry for my boys from Memphis though. Something that had been haunting them all year long came back to byte them in the end. They won that game and then gave it away. I am still proud of them though for the way they played and the way they handled it after the game. My hat goes off to John Calapari. He has recruited a good bunch of guys, very well spoken and did not run from what happened or what they did. Was something you have not seen in past years. PumaTrac, if you have not heard from Sam or need something is there any thing I can do to help. Sam is getting ready for a BFL tournament up at Pickwick. He is leaving in the AM to head up there. Suppose to talk to him this evening and will let him know he has got a message. Take Care, Good Luck and YES, I am still a Memphis State fan !!!! Joey Watts
Hey Joey, It wasnt anything really important. I had a picture of him in his boat from the OI and thought he might want it. You can pass to him if you would that if hell provide me with his email address, Ill forward it to him. Thanks! Reid….

TIDEMAN, try the points across the lake from the ramp in the skiing area. Have the boat sitting in 18-24 foot and throw carolina rig to the bank, work all the way back, also shakey head. Use Berkeleys 6″ finnesse worm in watermelon candy (not GULP), same color BOO YAH yum dinger 5-6″. Work baits slow and concentrate 0n feel, theyll just hang on, very seldom will you get a hard bite, Every time you hit something that seems to stop your bait , feel for any movement and set the hook on any funny feeling. Try to use a carolina weight that is long and slim(1/2 oz), as it will pull thru cover more easily. I always use suffix braid as main line on car. rigs. 40-50 lb.- use 17lb mono for leader, about 2 long. Pay attention to any small points, not just obvious ones. If your in 20 of water there is a series of ledges coming off the bank.Work the dam, also. THATS ALL FOLKS, GOOD LUCK SAMBAYOU BANDIT

I am going to have to agree on having the pleasure in able to chat with Sam. As a OI rookie, I had the pleasure of staying with Sam the whole week at the Bayou Resort. Sam is the kind of guy that would give his shirt off his back…. matter of fact, he did it twice. Two times, he threw a fishing shirt at me, and said, “here, this should fit you.” I wish now I took a pic of that purple and yella bcb to post on the site, lol.
