Sam Rush

Thought about Sam last week when we had the BASS open on Barnett. OlSam would have been as excited as a kid on Christmas when he saw the Livingston Lures trailer. He probably would have bought them out. Miss you big guy.

I never had the pleasure to meet Sam Rush but reading his posts and the affection all of you have shown for Sam in his passing I somehow feel your loss too. We never forget the good times and memories of those friends and family we so loved and respected.

I never met Sam either. I talked with him a couple of times via messages here on the BCB Owners Forum. I miss his comments. RIP Sam.

We will fly the LSU flag again at Norfork for Sam and may even have to drop it off at Teal Point for his group there to remember his special resort. He loved coming to Norfork and starting GAF with Luke was a prime enjoyment since his retirement. Not that he didnt like that Delta red fishing also! I continue to keep a large Bass Cat logod marble in the console of my white Yukon which Sam graciously gave me. He was often a surprise in his gentle Ben ways and often a surprise in his terse personality. He left us too early and without closure here for many.
