I use the full length transom saver on my Sho get the dealer to kick it in on your boat. One of the only peeves I had with my dealer was that the boat didnt come water ready when I picked it up from the dealer. The previous three new boats a Nitro and two Tritons from different dealers all came with a fire extinguisher, paddle, throw cushion and transom saver. My Cat did not have any of these although the mechanic who serviced and got the boat ready for me to pick up did go out and take a transom saver off the rack and put it on for me with out the bosses knowledge. Also the starting battery they installed was not big enough to run all the accessories at the same time. I had to replace it with a Sears Platinum 31. The trolling motor batteries were adequate for the short term. I guess I was spoiled to the other dealers where a water ready new boat was just the norm. Larry Brumley PS I guess it was a good thing I didnt plan on taking my new boat straight to a lake when I picked it up I would have to of purchased an fire extinguisher, paddle and a throw cushion before putting it in the water to start the break in.
