This only happened when I was on a high speed, not normal fishing speeds. After it would happen I would shut it off, wait a few seconds and put it on low speed, and it would resume normal operation. Ive had this happen a few times over the last few months and it would always resume after it was shut off. Anybody experienced this, or have any advice? A breaker tripping will keep your T/M from working completely, which is most likely the cause of your second concern. I wouldnt think the T/M slowing dramatically after hi-speed use would be breaker related. My TE 109 has done the same thing so Ill be watching this thread. But my guess is it is a sign of weakening batteries (ie, the large battery demand for hi-speed draws the battery down quickly and it cant recuperate fast enough). That is only a guess though.
