nope that is all you will need, you will need to wait for entry forms to be released as Basscat said about 6 weeks prior, send them in (hint takeoff order is based on order entry is received) day two the field is reversed.
there will be a onsite registration period where you will get all the tourney info, flight schedule and weigh in times, sign waiver and have a chance to buy Basscat swag!
these are great events, this will be number 12 for me.
Retiering and moving from Texas to Guntersville in February. Works for me 😀
I sure hope the insurance company fixes my boat and doesn’t total it….I had a blast last year for my first one….

Besides a fishing license is there anything else that is needed to fish and boat in the event?
Enough skill so that you don’t throw something with a bunch of treble hooks into my boat if we get within 100′ of each other.

What a great place to retire to. One of the choices my wife and I have discussed.
Owned a Cat for over 30 years and about 1 1/2 hours from factory never fished in the invitational. I may make this my first.
madjudge, this would be a good one to attend.
What’s the prize for 1st? Perhaps a shiny new Basscat?
Please read further as to why out of state participants should be excited to attend.
It has been a shiny new Bass Cat for 30 years, and the draw for a shiny new Premium model with a Mercury engine.
They also have a rubber duck worth a V6 Mercury outboard, and a MotorGuide trolling motor on another duck.
Then they have Wild Card spots throughout the field that pay out the same cash as the placement does in the Top 25. For example finishing in 247th place was $753.00, placing 101st was good for $899 and first out of the money or smallest stringer awards were $1,000.00.
Guntersville should be a nice draw from outside of Alabama and the hard core ‘Bama gang will be mostly wrapped Up in the Alabama Team Trails on the TN River that same weekend. The good anglers in the area will be forced to follow the ABT for points toward their Classic. The locals participating will be those main stream anglers who just love to fish.
The home lake advantage will be minimized by the travel to follow ABT.

My buddy Doug and I are attending again this year. This will be our second invitational and his first time on Guntersville. I last visited in 1995. We had a great time last year, met some amazing people, and cannot wait for this year. Would be nice to mingle more this year and share tea or beers with more of the family.
If anyone has a spare room, or wants to go in on lodging together, let me know. Would like to minimize cost if possible, not looking mooch off anyone, we will fully pay our share of lodging and food. Would love to arrive Sunday or Monday before and familiarize myself with the lake again.
Thanks and we cannot wait to see you all again..
Is there somewhere around state park to get non ethanol fuel
25 pounds is leading FLW today. 14 to 15 pounds sinks deep into the 40th place range.
