Topic: V-t2 livewell venting. | Bass Cat

This question is only to clear my curiosity up! I mainly crappie fish. Many times Ive had many crapple in my livewells. Very seldom do I lose one. I mean my fish gets introduced to grease anyway! Though I want them alive and kicking when I arrive back home. But occasionally I lose a few though its rare. The theory of the venting system makes sense. IMO bcb livewells are the best on the market. Many question for me surround these vents. DO THEY REALLY WORK!. ARE THEY BAD TO CRACK BEING CONTINOUSLY STEPPED ON. DO THEY CREATE A STEPPING HAZARD? As Ive stated I lose very Few fish. Is this something I would install? Its not on my upgrade list at the present time. I come across wrong all the time- no quarrel. Just see all these hard working dudes like you getting sucked into stuff. But hey its a free country full of capitalists of varying legitimacy. Finding out if vt-2 worked would be cake but guys pushing this stuff never do. All you gotta do is take split livewell boat and put vent in one side only. Could compare DO,temp, nh3, fish stress in each well at end of day- done. Im in healthcare and theres all sorts of total crap pushed at us daily. In our world its put up or get out. In fishing world its just find a bunch of schills to push it and who cares if it works.C.O.D. Jr. III
