Water pressure gauge line

Found out why my water pressure gauge doesnt work. The 1/8 line has been cut inside the hull. My question is where do you run the new line? I would really like to have a working gauge but I dont know how or where to even start to run it back to the dash. Found the line on the engine and the gauge but connecting the 2 correctly is my issue. 95 P2. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Thanks If your water line is cut in the hull, then are you getting water pouring into your boat from this line? I would think so. When you answer this I might have additional comments that could be beneficial.JimEveryone should believe in something. I believe Ill just go fishing!

Im honestly not sure but I think there would be. I was able to pull the line from the engine into the bilge area. Thats how I noticed it was cut. I would just like to run some new line and get the gauge working.

Just run a new tube up along the gunnel where the wiring / cables are . — Easy fix .

Nothing high tech with the connections. Just dont kink the hose and your good to go. Trickiest part is fishing hose through side gunnel (gunwale) of boat. I would just like to run some new line and get the gauge working. Your boat is old so I would recommend a new gauge to start with unless you can check your gauge for proper operation and accuracy. This is really a simple fix like Bigcatter and Dwayne said. Your local marine dealer should have the tubing and fittings to do the job. Remove the driver side vent at the back of the boat for ease of running a fish-tape straight through to the console area. Then pull a strong string from the console area to the vent. Then use the string to pull the tubing through from the bilge to the console area and hook everything up and you should be good to go. Then watch for leaks at the gauge when running. Hopefully you will not see a leak there. Good luck with your project.Everyone should believe in something. I believe Ill just go fishing!
