wax process

what is you guys process and times of year and number of times you wax. just wondered who does what. i use my boat 1-2 times a week.

I use ProTec three times a year, two coats at each polishing, and then wip down with Bass Boat Saver when I come out of the water.Mike Whitten/Germantown, TN

how do you actually apply step wise.

ZackWash the boat with soap and water. Then dry.For stains, scratches, etc. use a fine rubbing compound by hand. Tougher scratches may require a buffer.Follow that with a sealant such as Pro Tec. Use two coats.After every trip wipe down at a minimum with a damp rag. There are some quick detailers that work good. Most of the time I use Turtle Wax spray wax. I also use Pro Tec Showroom Detailer, and to a lesser extent Meguiars Quick Detailer and Lemon Pledge. All will work. Some just require more wiping to remove the streaks and film.Wax again at a minimum of 6 months. If it stays outdoors, wax more frequent.

yes but dont have a clue as to what. i may actually get away from east texas some as it has eaten my lunch all year! particularly rayburn! well see though.

lemme tell ya, its in my backyard, and if you wanna know how good i do just take a quarter, and flip it, heads means i slay em, tails means i cant stretch one 14″s haha, but im gonna gamble and fish BFLS as a boater and strens as a co-angler next year, along with medias if i can find a partner.
