I made one for my 2003 classic, because I could not find one. If yours is a dual console, it is relatively easy. Use 3/4″ marine grade plywoood, measure the dimensions and cut 2pcs of plywood, then use waterproof gorilla glue to glue them together. Wait a day for the glue to dry and then glue some carpet on it (sand the corners 1st though). You will have to find the carpet of course. The 1 1/2″ thick pc fits almost perfectly as far as height. Im not exactly mechanically inclined and I was able to do this.

Im also thinking of doing the same thing for my 2008 classic. Bigbass, how did you secure it to the boat to keep the wind from sucking it out? Im very nervous about putting holes in my gelcoat.

Mine fits snug enough, so I didnt fasten it down with anything, plus it weighs probably 35-40 lbs. I have never had an issue with it coming up at all, even traveling down the highway. I probably should put at least one strap on it just to be safe though.

If you are still interested, I have one for sale, just sold my Classic and the new owner did not want it. It has gray carpet and is real easy to install. I was also worried about drilling into my fiberglass, but it can be done correctly and will give you plenty more deck space.
