Just learned from dealer that the rig I ordered 10 weeks ago has not been started because they have no Yamaha SHOs and will not have any for 9 months plus. Why wait 10 weeks to tell your customers that news. While I have experienced your great customer service first hand. This fits into the customer disservice area. While I understand your not giving out exact build times this is a different issue. Trying to remain calm in a storm ! What do you say BCB ?
Nine months or nine weeks? Cant imagine there is a 9 month backlog from a company the size of Yamaha.
Ive heard that the production of the SHO has been postponed through 2018.

This is not good. I ordered a rig in October. I need to follow up with my dealer. I will not wait the 9 months if this applies in my case
9 months?? How does a company allow themselves to get that far behind on production? Seems to me heads need to roll. This will put a bad taste in customers mouth and Boat manufacturers usually get the heat for the delay.I can see 1-2 months delay, than adjust with overtime or personnel to catch up. Poor Planning on Yamahas part.
So does that mean next time a person passes a new Skeeter its gonna have a Rude or Merc on it. Yamaha will surely step up somewhere, there is no way that they are gonna let Merc and Rude go uncontested. Yamaha is to big a company to allow themselves to get a black eye of that magnitude.

It could be a number of things. IMO, Yamaha either has an issue with parts availability or they need to make an emissions fix. I dont feel they would be making any changes unless they were forced to on this platform.
