Would I keep more value if I get a 4 stroke now or is the move to them in the future far enough in advance where purchasing the Mercury Pro XS will not hurt my future value?
So from what I am reading is it correct that the Puma, Cougar, and Eyra will all do over 80 mph with one person in them?
Thanks for the information and definitive choice. I also heard about the over HP rating on the first year motors.
You would probably be fine with any vehicle at 5000 lbs and that rig. I have pulled comparable weighted rigs with a Blazer and Explorer with no problems. I have pulled a Ranger Z-19, 225, dual axle with a 2005 Toyota 4- runner. Before I purchased my Cougar I test towed vehicles with the Ranger. The new 4-runner has an even larger wheel based and towed very well while getting good gas mileage. Some of the other models including the 05 4-runner got squirrely on the interstate over 70 mph with a bigger rig, however the new one did not have that problem at all. I dont think issues will occur on short lower speed runs, especially with the Sabre.
LSU 21 Bama 20 ……. and if not…… Arkansas beats South Carolina then gets beat by LSU. Oklahoma State loses to Kansas State or Oklahoma, take your pick, Oregon squeaks by Stanford. LSU jumps an undefeated and undeserving Boise State and gets a rematch in the 2nd national championship game.Well, it is possible. Far more remote things occured in 2007.
If the water does not come up I would not run at all outside of the river/main channel. Cypress Bend was closed for awhile and I am a little surprised it is back open however it was one of the few open in the first place. The launch at Pendleton Bridge is open and is a short idle to the river. Last I checked North Toledo Bend State Park was closed a few weeks back. I suspect the water will be up by March but the question is how much. There will be others to answer some of your questions and they may have more recent information. I have not been on Toledo in about 6 weeks. Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving.
thank you
It was decided before Ok State even played. It will be bama. Exciting or not LSU and Bama are the two best teams.
As scary good as LSU is, Alabama is right with them. A rematch is the way to go. The 9 6 game was epic. Great defense is an art, wouldnt have it any other way.
Uhhhh what happens if you try to use jumper cables?
I saw an aerosol can of Sharkhide and a quart liquid container. Has anyone used this stuff and can provide some feedback? Is there anything you dont want want to spray this on?
I will. Thank you
Thanks for the help. I am trying to stick with something that has decent fuel economy as I will use the same vehicle(SUV) for work and a lot of driving. From what I can tell the best choices with regard to fuel economy are the 4runner or the ML350. I have had a 4runner and pulled a 19.6 ft boat that would sway at 70 mph. This was before toyota increased the the wheel track by about an inch. I test rode this model with the same boat and it did not sway. Since this time I purchased a Cougar. I suspect I will see if the dealership of each will let me tow my boat to see how it does on the interstate.
Thanks for all the feedback. It all was accurate and helpful. The toyota and the ml350 both pulled well with the 350 a little more stable. A hard brake on both produced some minmal skidding. I think the same in rain at a higher speed would be something to be careful of going forward. The Ford ecoboost did a great job and has a lot of stability. All had great fuel economy. Thanks again this information headed me in the right direction.
I neglected to add all the dealers were helpful and will let you tow before you purchase. The Tahoe does a great job as well. I own one now and am trading it in for other reasons not due to performance or fuel economy. The difference is exactly as someone mentioned 1 to 2 mph between the Tahoe and others.
