Topic: How much should my boat weigh?

04 cougar ftd with 225 opti, three batteries and xi5 tm. Anyone know what this should weigh empty on the trailer?Thanks for any help

After a little research and help from the 04 brochures, I think i can get pretty close on the weight of the boat. Any ideas on the trailer?

Lots of variables though on trailer it should weigh around 4,000

Thanks for the input. I have a scale close by so when time allows, I should be able to weigh it with and without the boat on the trailer to get an idea of the trailer weight as well.Thanks againLast edited by sodakcat on October 10th, 2017, 1:01 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Trailer is around 1275

Finally got over to weigh the boat and trailer together. Total weight of boat and trailer was 3920. All gear had been removed from the boat and had about 32 gallons of gas in the boat. Sounds pretty close to what the weight should be.

I figure it is safe to say the boat is not water logged or holding and water. Would you agree?

My opinion would be that that is a fair assumption . — Sounds like youre right on the numbers .
