Humminbird Transducer install

I found that the transducer mounted on the transom of my PIV has gone bad and Humminbird just sent me a new one to install. I see that the cord goes up behind the engine mount then disappears. Before doing anything, I was hoping someone could tell me how Bass Cat routes transducer cables. Thanks

Usually if I remember it goes into the drain hole of the splashwell, then to the starboard side where it enters with steering and fuel lines into the sump. After this it goes into the starboard gunnel to get to the drivers console. At drivers console it exits with steering lines in a hole in starboard gunnel under the drivers consoleC.O.D. Jr. III

Cut the old line at the transducer and pull the new one with the old line.

Remove the starboard air scoop and it will give you more room to run the wiring! I use a long piece of vinyl trim to fish it thru! Works like a champ!

I use a fish tape with the vent removed. May have to work it around sometimes if it gets slowed by the steering or other cables. The metal tape is strong enough to make it work. Good luck.

Thanks all for your help. Smoking rooster was right, the cable goes through the drain hole of the splash well. Unfortunately the cable connection to the head unit doesnt fit behind the jackplate. I assume I need to raise the jack plate enough for me to pull the cable through. So I tried doing that, loosened the side bolts and went to raise the jack plate and nothing happens. Is this something that seizes up if not used or can I try to “encourage” the plate to move
