Looking for a Lake Fork Bass Fishing Guide…

Since I will be in Dallas area on June 28 – 30, I would like to get a guide for Lake Fork Trophy Bass Fishing on 28th or 29th – night fishing so do you have any recommendation on a guide? I am particularly interested in trophy bass (quality – want to try to catch at least 10 lbs.) thought I know its tougher with mid-summer pattern…Thanks.

Heres a pretty comprehensive list of Lake Fork Guides. I see it was posted in 2006, so Im sure some things have changed. My first and only trip on Lake Fork was in the summertime with Kerry Stafford. He was a good guy but we had a fairly tough time in the summer heat, and we didnt catch anything over 5 pounds. Fished with James Niggemeyer a couple weeks ago. Had a great time and learned a lot. We did discuss the potential for finding big fish during the summer days. Just a matter of finding the right school deep. Not sure if James does any night trips, though. I live on Lake Fork if you want the best night time guide here it would be Randy OldField 214-535-2799 Randy still holds state records on Cypress Springs. He catches big fish every year over 13#. Randy has been on some big night time bass. Randy only fishes night time this time of year. Randy does not run a Bass cat but he is one of the best guides if you can get him booked he stays hooked up.Good Luck

I should also say Randy only fishes for big fish. There are guides on fork that just go after fish and do not catch many over 7#
