01/17/19 – BASS CAT BOATS MAINTAINS TOP-SHELF REPRESENTATION ON ALL THREE TOURS

MOUNTAIN HOME, AR January 17, 2019 – Continuing support of professional bass anglers that dates back to the early 1970’s, Bass Cat Boats will maintain a deep roster of exceptional talent on all three major bass fishing tours in 2019. Whether you enjoy watching someone fish for five big fish over the course of a day or as many scorable bass as they can catch in an abbreviated period, you’ll be able to see them do it in a Bass Cat. Our no compromise, “all of the above” approach to professional bass fishing puts both the fans and the pros in the driver’s seat.

“We’re proud to be ably represented on the Elite Series, the Bass Pro Tour and the FLW Tour,” said Bass Cat President Rick Pierce. “Of course, we’ve had a strong presence at B.A.S.S. for decades and we were the first and original sponsor of Major League Fishing. We’ve also always tried to maintain a solid crew at FLW. We see no reason to choose one Tour over the others, and we encouraged our anglers to fish the circuit that best meets their needs.”’

For the 2019 season, Bass Cat will have eleven anglers on the Elite Series, seven on the Bass Pro Tour, and seven with FLW. Expect to see them in the winner’s circle on all three.

“We’ll work diligently to make sure that all of our guys are adequately supported wherever they’re fishing,” said Bass Cat Tour Manager and former Elite Series champion Kevin Short. “We want to give them the best tools to enhance their performance. Everyone may have their own style or strategy, but ultimately the goal is to put fish in the boat and we want our pros to be able to focus on that alone. With increasing amounts of live coverage and media opportunities, we’re anxious for the fans to see our team at work.”
