09/20/16 – BASS CAT ELITE ANGLER SETH FEIDER WINS BIG AT THE 2016 TOYOTA BASSMASTER AOY CHAMPIONSHIP

MOUNTAIN HOME, AR (September 20, 2016) – This past weekend, Bass Cat Elite Angler Seth Feider took first at the 2016 Toyota Bassmaster Angler of the Year Championship held on Mille Lacs Lake in Mille Lacs, Minnesota.

The native Minnesotan posted a three-day total of 76 pounds, 5 ounces, outweighing second-place by over six pounds – but it didn’t come easy. After a mediocre start to the season, Feider proved his tenacity with a second-place finish last week on the Mississippi River at La Crosse, Wisconsin, to qualify in the 50th and final spot for the Toyota Angler of the Year Championship.

“The ride of my Bass Cat was key to my win this past weekend. I made long runs each day in really rough water and the boat’s precise handling in big waves allowed me to run fast, make adjustments, and stay on top of the fish,” stated Feider. He also gave credit to the Bass Cat livewells for keeping his fish alive during the rough runs. “I’ve fished my Bass Cat all year and haven’t lost a fish yet. That’s given me a huge advantage this season,” Feider added.

Bass Cat President Rick Pierce stated, “This win shows Seth’s versatility as a professional angler in his ability to be successful in various conditions and will give him a great bump for the 2017 season. We are proud to have him as a member of the Bass Cat Elite Series Team not only for his fishing skills, but also for his hard work to help Eddy Lyback be the premier Minnesota bass boat dealer.”
